Anashti l Brat Pack l Sally & Dr. Finklestein Had he asked, Evan would have answered - but he also probably would have been the littlest bit embarrassed by how much information he could spout regarding different writing utensils and stationary in general. It was one of those odd things that he'd somewhat collected over the years, which was why his first instinct was to come to Scribbulus whenever it was time to back to school shop. "That sounds like enjoyable work." Being busy with ones hands had always sounded like a good thing to him. "Is that what you're interested in as well?" He knew people didn't always follow in their parents footsteps, considering he had zero interest himself, but he also knew that's where some people started for future careers.
With the school being as big as it was, Evan was not entirely surprised they hadn't known each other well or anything. Especially too if either of them had had socially ineptitude. It probably didn't help too that Evan had spent the majority of his time hiding away from other people, until he finally just settled into spending time with those he knew. Mainly Jude and Ash and his sisters but there had been others as well. "Nothing wrong with that." He hadn't firmly decided on his path either. Asking what people studied was just.. the thing to do, was it not? "Gap year was good. I took it hoping I'd figure out a plan too but... all it did was give me a year to relax." Which had been fine and now he'd just taking History of Magic because he was interested in that. If another interest came up... fine, he could always switch. "The Edinburgh campus for WizU. What about you?"
