Char was shooketh. Sure, he knew there were a lot of smoothie combos out there but there were a few that he hadn’t heard of before. Quick jottings were made in his book as he subtly polished off the pineapple slice. He rather liked the sound of a smoothie bowl; it was something that he was yet to try.
Blenders, juicers and all the things, yes. Char was familiar with the Muggle equipment having used one or two on a few occasions. When the time came to grab those ingredients, he shuffled up to collect his choice of them in the cups as indicated: skim milk, dark chocolate, tablespoons of peanut butter, a huge chunk of pineapple, blueberries and bananas. Like Fynley, Charlie wasn’t keen on having vegetables in his smoothies. Did he want protein powder? Hmmm… nope.
With the Blendjet on his desk, Charlie got to work. After using magic to slice away the skin, the Severing Charm was used to cut the fruit into smaller chunks. “Diffindo. Diffindo.” And so he went along, pausing only to peel the banana. “Diffindo!’’ he added with gusto, effectively slicing the last banana into quarters.
Freezing the fruits was even more fun, as Char discovered a short while later. With a Glacius here and a Glacius there, there were frozen goodies ready for smoothie-making! |
