It was funny how even after so many years later, his eyes still went to the Fwooper quills first. The majority of those he'd used during his Hogwarts year had been the same type for the sentimentality reasons that if anyone but his best friend asked, he probably would have denied he had. But perhaps it was time to try something different. Which still didn't stop him from grabbing a few new ones and dropping them into his basket.

A voice then sounded behind him, and Evan's head turned to see one of his former peers (perhaps current now too if he was a university student at the Edinburgh campus). Was it... Gabriel perhaps? That seemed about right. At the suggestions, he glanced again at the wall before also grabbing a few snowy owls quills liking the look the best. "Thanks for the suggestion. Even after 7 years, figuring out the best type still seems such a mystery to me. I'm far more comfortable with pens." But his mundane life had so far been longer than his magical. "You were a Hogwarts student, weren't you? Graduating class of 2108?"
