Did it mean, then, that if Claudine were to continue looking up to Hady as a mentor that she would someday indeed have that superlative come to pass? She did not want to think about that right then so all thoughts of such were pushed away. Instead, Claudine grinned. “I can live with that. Otherwise it’ll just come off as me bribing you to share all of your magizoology tips.” Hm? She was totally an angel over here and not at all into bribery.
“Is that a synonym for wild and energetic?” Genuinely curious, she asked the question as an offering of a coin was made to the fountain. Curious because Claudine knew that someday Heath wanted kids of his own. Maybe now was a good time as ever to really make a move on studying the behaviour of young humans, which was probably more difficult than that of young creatures. |
