So summer meant cramming in as much as she could, when time allowed for it.

Like today. She was spending some time with a a friend that she had met through work, who seemed to be following in her footsteps. At least for now. Anything creature related and she was all in. Hady made her way towards the fountain where she was meant to be meeting up with Claudine, a warm smile on her face. "Hey, I hope I'm not late. I had to make sure that my youngest wasn't to hyped up before I handed her off to her brother who is taking her out for a few hours today." Hence how she got the afternoon to herself.

Oh, indeed Claudine was following in Hady’s footsteps. At least up to the part with being a veterinarian. You see, even though she had been voted ‘Most Likely To Return To Hogwarts As A Professor' in her final year, she still could not see herself ever fulfilling this superlative. Despite her improving and having an easier time being social with others, the thought of having to deal with so many pre-teens and teens… yes, she was content with being a vet. And Hady’s new friend.

“Hi!’’ Claudine beamed, somewhat eager to be on her best and most mature behaviour around the woman as always. It was perhaps only the second time that the younger woman wanted to impress someone so badly, the first being her wanting to impress Heath’s family. “Coffee for you.” Claudine held out a cup; the other contained her favourite caramelatte. “You’re not. Um, your youngest sounds… scary?” Excuse her, Hady. She was just weary of kids and the prospect of motherhood did frighten her. “Want to sit for a bit? But we’ve got to offer coins first.”
