It was weird that it was already weird being back in London. It felt like his move to South Korea had not been done very long ago, and yet it was already home to him. Maybe it was because the decision had been made so that he could be with Emi all the time, or maybe it was just because he'd found such amazing spots to craft his art further. But either way his current residence was so much more home than any of his previous. Which was maybe saying a lot, considering he'd now lived in 4 countries across 3 continents.
But there was something that could always bring him back to London. And considering it was summer and she was out of school for a few months, it had been the perfect time to kiss Emilia goodbye for a week and pop over to the UK in order for some quality cousin time - which was exactly what he had done.
He wasn't sure how jam packed Mar's summer was with her boyfriend and friends and other family, so he'd let her pick the time and just sent a missive to meet him at the Leaky Cauldron. He figured lunch and then ice cream was the perfect introduction to a cousin fun day before they decided what other shenanigans to get up to. So at the arranged meeting time, he'd already gotten himself something warm to drink and found a good booth to sit in. There was an odd array of packages laid out on the bench seat beside him, which he absently checked on every once in awhile whilst he waited.
