“Uh huh,” Septimus agreed with a nod. “One of the few ways to make group work fun.” As he’d always tended to be a more solitary worker, he had often dreaded being thrown together with others on a project. But he couldn’t deny that work as a cursebreaker could be made easier by that which he had once hated. Not something he was familiar with, having neither sisters or bosom buddies that would pull him into such. It was then looking at their joined hands again that he noticed what time his watch was saying. “Alas I fear I have to check these out and get going,” he said, tentatively loosening his hand’s hold on hers but not actually pulling it away and letting her make her own move to not be rude and forceful.
