Maybe she could do something – pretend to be sick and slip to the train station since she’d be able to go. She was a witch – she had training. It wasn’t like she was just unmagical and trying to invade the school, even if that could have been interesting. She would have to convince Mum and Dad to let her go or do it herself.

As she pondered getting to Hogwarts, she sidled up to the vendor selling chips and bought herself a packet. Delicious the salty hot chips smelled tantalizing.
If Mackenzie was to be believed, this would probably be his first time in years to stop by the street vendors and really take in what's on offer. For the past years, he would usually just go from Point A to Point B then back to Point A when he'd visit Diagon Alley for the annual school shopping. This was because he'd been warned by the adults in the family not to hang out much in this area because of the questionable wares. At that time, it didn't even pique his interest. He just conveniently forgot about this part of the Alley altogether.

This time around though, he'd promised Noah, whether he was there with him or not, that he'd give the word "relax" a chance. Yes, there were still the dubious hawkers selling their wares about, but he's already old enough to always take a grain of salt, especially in the world of business and marketing.

Quietly weaving his way in and out of the crowd, he'd occasionally stop in front of one of the stalls to see what could be purchased and then quietly slip away to check the one across it. He came across a stall that sold chips, but before he could place his order, a girl beat him to it. A familiar face, even. "If it isn't the Spudmeister herself." Mackenzie gave her a small smile and ordered the same food for himself. No sharing this time.
