At the greeting Vera grinned back, offering her hand in greeting hello. "Hi! I'm Vera. You're a Hogwarts student too, right?" She was pretty sure majority of people were Hogwarts students but... there was the occasional privately tutored or visiting student from other schools. So even if she was fairly certain she'd SEEN this student, it was better to be safe than sorry. If she noticed she had startled the other girl by answering her musings Nadia didn’t make a point of drawing attention to it. She did have a habit of seeming like she was sneaking up on people when perhaps she just wasn’t the noisiest mover. “Sounds like a plan,” she agreed with a smile. “How could she not want to help curious students not want to learn something like that?” she asked almost rhetorically.
Professors were supposed to encourage all sorts of learning…right?
Vera…that was her name. The younger girl knowing she had heard it more than once in passing. “Mhmmm…” she confirmed with a nod, definitely a Hogwarts student. The only none Hogwarts student she had ever met was his brother’s friend Mouse and she had transferred from Beaubaxons to be a part of the nicer school. “Second Year Gryffindor,” she pronounced just a touch proud, especially of that fact that she was no longer a newbie, before adding, “I’m Nadia.”
