 Constant Vigilance! O_O AWAKE!
Eulalia was completely overwhelmed by this school supply shopping thing they were doing today. She'd spent years going along with others to do their school shopping, but shopping for her own school supplies? It was way different!!! Stressful!! What if they forgot something? What if they bought something and she forgot to pack it? What if she bought something and broke it in the first week of school?
She'd managed to calm herself only by taking her lizard out of her pocket and chatting quietly with it. She had squished herself to the side of the street, just outside the cauldron shop window, and was having a nice one-way conversation with the lizard. "Do you think it will be nice at Hogwarts? Maybe I will find some of your cousins there," Lally whispered to the lizard. She wished she'd see her own cousins, that would be a relief to see a familiar face among the hubbub of all the shoppers. |
