Wait, why was Aria staring at her like that? It occurred to her just then that when Aria had mentioned throwing the fanged frisbee at her, she didn't mean to hit her head on with it... or maybe she'd said it as a joke? It just so happened that Lola had never gotten hit with a fanged frisbee before, and that it might hurt more than she thought it did.
"Um, okay, your idea sounds better," Lola said, blinking as the other girl brought common sense to the plan.
"I'll try and catch it." She glanced around to make sure no one else in the store was about to walk into the line of fire. After seeing that it was safe, she held out her hand, ready to catch. The frisbee cruised towards her, and Lola easily caught it, wincing a little as it snarled.
Smiling at the teeth on the frisbee, Lola held it up for Aria.
"It's scary...in a good way. Here, catch!" Making sure once more the coast was clear, she sent it through the air, not hard at all. She didn't want to hurt her Slytherin friend. It cruised through the air, falling slightly as it got close to the other girl... if she didn't reach out to catch it, it would just land on the floor in front of her.
Was Aria a friend now? Lola had no friends, so she wasn't certain, but since they were playing with a frisbee and Aria had made sure not hurt her with it when she could have, Lola decided she liked her, even if she'd been a little mean mixed with awkward with her a few moments ago.
"I wouldn't really attack someone with this just for accidentally brushing their fingers against me," she said, deciding she wanted Aria to not think of her as a violent little kid.
"This is just like for bullies."
