Exams were looming over Maria's head and she felt like she spent most afternoons with her nose stuck in a book revising or trying to avoid breaking anything as she practiced spells. To spend a spring afternoon outside riding a car sounded fun and a much needed relief. Maria had never tried the bumper cars at the carnival so this sounded super fun.
Arriving at the event Maria was dressed in comfy clothes and her big black curly hair pulled back in a poney tail. It wouldn't be good if she had hair in her eyes when she steered a car. Waving to the professors she smiled sunnily "Hello Professor Feirgrund and Professor Khanna will you two be driving the cars too?" Turning her attention to the other students present so far she greeted her peers equally sunnily "Hi Desiree! Hi Brandon!"
