It was always a delight when Vashti was able to make plans to meet up with one of her friends, especially when it was with one of her best friends, Trixie. Her friendships had always been important, but they had become even more so in the last few years after the loss of Anakin. That grief was not as all-encompassing as it had once been, but it still lingered in the back of her mind at times. Spending time outside of the house and with people she loved, though, kept it at bay.

And so she was looking forward to her lunch date with Trixie - so much so, that she arrived quite a bit earlier than their scheduled time to meet. Vashti didn't mind though. She selected a booth to wait in, perusing the menu, even though she'd been here so many times over the years that it felt like she had it memorized.
