How she wasn't already crying, she didn't know! Everything was perfect. The decorations, the music, her children! All perfect. Time needed to slow down so she could savory this moment a tiny bit longer. If everyone could just stay right where they were, all would be great.
Hady knew that wasn't going to happen. Not for a long shot. Too much was already going on for her to even try to keep everyone still for a second. What she needed to do was go with the flow and have a great time, that was what they always did and it always worked out well for them.
A smile graced her lips as her children sang to her, Frankie emerging from the other room with the cake. For a vague moment she wondered which of them had chosen it, it being her favorite flower and all. "Oh, hush you before you end up wearing the cake," she teased lightly, grinning at her husband. When the singing stopped she took a deep breath and blew out the candles.
"This is beautiful, thank you." They all were going to be getting more squishes from her before the night was through. Consider that a warning.
