Lisette wasn't afraid of the Labyrinth. Not one bit. Maybe...maybe a half bit afraid, though.
She didn't pause to admire the hedge walls, as she might have second-guessed herself and she wanted to try the hedge maze. Even if she got lost, she thought she had a pretty sense of direction. And if not...it was just a giant hedge. Hedges were pretty nice.
About four steps in, the nearly-thirteen-year-old did pause to take note of where the sun was. And where the shadows were...well, they were everywhere, so that wouldn't be much help, she supposed. She drew her wand to add a little light and scurried deeper into the Labyrinth. It was just a good, wholesome challenge! |
