What a LOVELY day this was turning out to be. First, Bart had been able to capture a small school of fish with ease, meaning he got a bigger breakfast than he normal did, so he was extra cheerful. He'd had some good conversations with the merpeople after that, and then did some sunbathing. Very rarely did one get the chance to sunbathe in March in England! It was such a pleasant day, and now he figured he'd swim some laps in the lake.

As he swam by, he noticed there were some STUDENTS in the windows to the common room. Such a shame the other common rooms didn't have windows into his world - he enjoyed surprising them with a little 'how do you do' every once in a while. Today was one of those days!

"Hello ladies!" the giant squid gurgled as he swam by. Could they hear him through the bubbles and the thick glass? Probably not, but he waved one of his tentacles anyways and then did a few backflips in the water just for show.
