"I'm sure you'd want to carry me around at all times regardless. Never know when you'll need a Healer to make you feel good as new again." An endless supplier of Pepperup Potion or Wideye Potion could come in handy. "But, hey, at least WADA and WU London aren't terribly far from each other. We'll be just a quick Patronus away."
A ginormous knitted blankie?? Who could say no to that?? “Listen, Daf. The only thing left that’ll make this perfect is if you read me the most romantic stories!’’ Jude wiggled both of his brows in response to his friend’s smirk. “You will, won’t you? You can do impressions of the characters with that deep voice of yours.” Cue a wink! “On cold evenings, we can break out the hot chocolate.” Jude would hold Daf to his tales if it weren’t for the fact that the other Puff was usually such a jokester.
“It’s impolite to answer a question with a question,’’ Jude replied, rolling his eyes playfully. “Besides, you know all too well that I’m dating the cutest Muggle guy.” He really, really liked said Muggle boy! “We do! On the Sunday then? I’m supposed to be meeting a few people on Saturday.” Including the best friend! “We can visit all the shops and all the alleys,’’ he continued quite enthusiastically. Why? Because Jude adored friend dates!
“Don’t worry, I’ll grace you with my presence the second I need a Healer.” Jude meant it about trusting Dafydd the most with treating him for any ailments. You just weren’t friends with someone for such a long time and shared so many commonalities without forming a strong bond of trust. “That or we could Apparate. We both know you’ll want to see me often.” |
