The seventh year slipping past the tall statues flanking the door and into the Reptile Room to see what the cold-blood inhabitants within might be up to. “Hey Arnie,” he greeted his aunt’s familiar who happened to be in his enclosure and not out with the woman. Probably busy with some lesson planning or up at the castle. And there was Circe, his cousin’s sand boa who got her own hello as well. Definitely warmer inside here. Reptiles were not specifically her favorite type of critters, magical or non, but considering they were often lumped in with amphibians at most zoos or menageries, she thought perhaps the company for Naveen would be appreciated. Her little frog seemed morose as of lately and she was a bit concerned. She thought maybe he was just missing her maman's frog as well, Evangeline, but if this didn't work... she'd perhaps need to ask Professor Paton if she would mind taking a look and making any recommendations.
But for now. Socialization. It was a worthy attempt, she thought. Cradling Naveen in her hands, she entered the room and tried to not grimace at all the legless friends within. It was fine, this was fine and this was for her small familiar. Hearing a voice already within, she glanced around before blinking in surprise (though really, why would she be?) when she noticed Raj already in the room. A small smile spread across her face and she headed over his way. "Hey, stranger. Are all these from your aunt's personal menagerie?" She had seen the albino python with her often so she figured that one was at least, but she wasn't too positive regarding the others.
