Tilting her head she looked up at him curiously. " Can something this small cause a lot of damge? It seems too little to do anything majorly." It looked kinda cute in a weird kinda way she liked the colors.

Cassie shivered at the thought. " I gotten bit by one when I was working on the farm papa owns, luckily it wasn't poisonous." Titling her head she looked up at him. "Those giant spiders or something? If so no way jose not going to happen!" Cassie frowned. "I'm glad you're okay and alive to tell the tale as my papa says, but what happened if you don't mind me asking." Looking up at him she tilted her head eyes full of curiosity.

Cassidy was a Ravenclaw, was she not? A moment of thought reminded them that indeed she was. This explained her eagerness for knowledge. “You did,’’ they replied enthusiastically, and also clapped along though not as loudly as they would have liked lest the creatures were disturbed. Funny and silly? “Why, I think that happens to be one of the best combinations ever!” At least Cassie didn’t think they were an insufferable stuck up. His eyes rested on the Chilayan Fire Dragon in a piercing gaze. “The size of something doesn’t necessarily dictate the level of trouble that may be caused. In most cases, I reckon as long as whatever it is is left unprovoked, one will remain safe.”

Dhruv couldn’t help it: they shuddered right along with Cassie when she mentioned the spider bite. They hadn’t a fear of spiders but it was no picnic being bitten by one. “Luck certainly was on your side that day. What sort of farm does your papa own?” There was a nod. “That they are. There’s a colony out in the Forbidden Forest. Not out around the edges, but deeper into it.” This wasn’t meant to scare Cassie, just to give her a warning and another reason why the Forest was out of bounds to first years especially. “I’m glad to be here to have met you,’’ Dhruv added truthfully. Cassie and so many other students. “There were multiple Lethifold… er, tragedies that my colleagues and I were sent to investigate in Indonesia. Coincidentally, there happened to be some Komodos in that particular region. Let’s just say a few of us were forced to scramble up trees to save our lives.” That had not been a fun time. “Did you know a Komodo’s venom can kill one within hours?” At this point, Dhruv shuddered again. “They are one of the creatures which will attack unprovoked so it will always be better for one to flee the moment one lays eyes on them.”
