Mercer had a brief flare of panic that she had stories with Milo that he had no part of, but everyone had stories. Everyone had stories that were their own, so it did no good to worry about not being part of all the stories of the people he loved.
"Have you ever stuck yourself to the ceiling? I'm not sure how to do a spell like that, but Milo can just do things. I wonder if Milo even knows how he does the things he does." Imagine the nonchalance in just knowing how to do spells like that?
Mercer glanced at the top of Mitsuki's head as it tucked against him, suddenly acutely aware that the cushion castle shielded them from everyone else's view. It was scandalous, wasn't it?
