Ah yes, the first person to make an appearance wasn’t a surprise at all to Celeste. The seventh year Hufflepuff was one of her best students, truly talented and clearly interested in the subject of Astronomy. Not her favorite though….as years of being a professor had showed her it was best not to try and pick…or label such a student. Instead nurturing all and just being happy with all the ones who give the subject a chance. “Good evening, Mr. Anders,” she returned his greeting with a smile.
“Hello Ms. Durand,” she greeted the slightly younger Ravenclaw as she joined the small party. “Please feel free and enjoy the sights...both of you…it’ll only get better as the evening progresses.” Hint hint. Her experienced eyes had already caught a glimpse of the first small meteor earlier, the ones not so visible as they came before the larger groupings. The astronomy professor only hoped more would take her up on what she was taking a moment and showing off this evening. Though she supposed not everyone was like her and liked both the night and the cold of the winter.
