Background: As Rosalind grew, a self-confident, fierce, and outspoken nature became quite prominent. Because of this, her parents pushed her to participate in various competitive activities such as gymnastics, debate, etc. She has an extremely close relationship with her grandmother, who would often tell her stories about witches, wizards, and magic. Little did she know that the stories she was told were more than mere fiction as they were about her ancestors from many generations ago. Her parents were surprised when Roz started to show signs of magic, whereas her grandmother was delighted that their family's dry spell had finally been broken. The Horned Serpent and Wampus statues offered themselves when she arrived at Ilvermorny, the latter of which she chose. It is her desire to excel in multiple areas and make her family and magical ancestors proud.
