Veronica likes to see herself as a pleasant person. Really that can be rather true when it comes to people she knows well and cares about. It can be hard for her to make friends, though the ones that she DOES have are treated with kindness and respect. When it comes to those she is not so familiar with, her attitude comes across as a little more aloof, though not exactly unfriendly. Socializing isn't her forte, though she does try her best with it. Attempting new things makes her happy, and she enjoys challenging herself; needless to say she is always up for a dare. Travelling is just about her favourite thing to do, and her dream career would involve it somehow. At the moment she is not sure what she wants to do for a living, but due to enjoying so many different activities, it shouldn't be hard for her to figure that out.

♚ HISTORY

Veronica came into the world one hot June day in the year 2079. She was a beautiful baby, and had a lovely start to her childhood. From a young age, she was close to both her parents, though sometimes it was a little hard for her due to their jobs keeping them both busy; her father was a curse-breaker, and her mother had become the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor at Ilvermorny. Still everything seemed to be perfect for the little girl. That was until she was six years old and her parents faced a huge blow to their marriage, not only impacting them but HER as well.

It had come out that her father had carried on an affair with a younger woman who was on his curse-breaking team. While Veronica was too little to understand everything that was going on, she did understand that her mother didn't want to have anything to do with her father anymore. All she knew was that he was trying to fix what he had done wrong and she was having no part of it. It was because of HER that the family was being broken up and she was now being split between both of her parents. That was when the resentment for her mother began, and time hasn't done anything to ease those feelings. It was so bad that when she had enrolled in Ilvermorny, Veronica outright REFUSED to attend Defense Against the Dark Arts lessons for the sole reason that her mother was the professor. Even though the subject interested her greatly, she couldn't stand to be taught by the woman who had put a stop to their happy family.

Needless to say that it came as a relief to Veronica when her mother had decided to leave Ilvermorny and make her way to Scotland, becoming the Headmistress at Hogwarts. Things were perfect up until the moment she discovered that she would be spending her Third Year at said school and with her mother. This proved to be an interesting term...
