This meant that Jude would spend all of his time while waiting for the lesson to get started to wonder what the contents were.

"Hi, Professor!" The Hufflepuff grinned at the man, shot the boxes a questioning look before setting off to grab a seat.

Were there any giveaways around the room about what today's lesson entailed? Sadly, there didn't seem to be.
"Hello, Master Anders," He greeted one of the senior students. Just a quick glance? Quite charitable on keeping the suspense.

However, this was Hogwarts, and you could never know exactly what you were going to get when you walked into the classroom.

What was in those boxes? Hmmm. Clearly something to do with the lesson, but since the professor was being purposely secretive about it, she just smiled at him and took her seat. "Hi Professor Feirgrund!" she greeted him as she took her seat near the back.
"Hello, Miss Schultz," Next was one of the younger students. They were an important bunch, more eager to learn usually.

So it was a very enthusiastic young girl woman that skipped into the room. "Hi Professor!" She chirped, taking a quick glance a the boxes before finding her way towards an open seat.

She hoped they were going to do something FUN today. Like uh... maybe play a muggle board game! Or like... jump rope or something! Weren't their muggle specific jump rope rhymes?

"Hello, Miss Thanatos," She appeared to be in good spirits. Hopefully, nothing lets it down.

They would find out soon enough. “Hello Professor,” the seventh year greeted the man with a polite smile as he made his way further into the classroom and moved towards a free seat near Mouse. “Hey,” he added in greeting to his fellow Ravenclaw.
"Hello, Master Atreyu-Rehman" Greeting the next senior student, quite the polite young man.

"Hello, Professor!" she panted cheerily as she tried to catch a peek at what was behind him. She really knew nothing at all about Muggles, either in American or in England, so she was finding this class very interesting. "Hello," she said a little shyly to the other students who were already there.
"Hello Miss Archard," It was good seeing younger students return to a lesson.

She couldn't possibly tell her muggle friends all about Hogwarts, but if she could, they'd get a good laugh over Nora taking a class on how to be a muggle.

She stepped into the classroom and took a casual look around. "Hello, Professor," she said, as she made her way to an empty seat. She gave all the boxes a slight eyebrow raise but otherwise said nothing else as she settled in. Oh, look, Nancy was sitting next to her. She gave her friend a little smile and a wave.
"Hello, Miss Collins," He did notice her questionable look at the boxes, he himself gave the same look on his first discovery.

"Hey, professor," Yukie greeted the man with a smile and because she was her extra curious self today, she felt the need to ask. "What are in the boxes?" Because maaaybe Professor Feirgrund would tell them, or at least offer a hint to keep their curious minds rolling. Yukie then went to occupy a seat for herself.
"Hello Miss Rasting," What was in the boxes she asked, "Nothing too surprising, it is another muggle toy invention." He of course would explain more soon.

Were there mysterious boxes?

He hadn't noticed.

Or maybe he had noticed and simply didn't care enough to wonder.

The world may never know.
Master Upstead's grunt was acknowledged with a simple nod. He seemed to be on a mission of being undercover so he wouldn't disturb that... yet.

His sister did, but she wasn't a muggle and anyway it wasn't about blood status. He guessed that there was something in the boxes.

Mysterious. Lessons were usually that way. Brandon always tried to figure out the subject as fast as possible, but it would take until at least the first question to do that. Nodding politely at the professor, he dropped into an open seat. Now it was time to wait.
"Hello, Master Fox," Yes, look closely. Though it was unfortunate the items didn't arrive in their original retail boxes.

Actually, who was he kidding, he wouldn't feel bad about that even if he still felt adrift with his intentions. He was a little too optimistic to say that the seventh year was getting personal with the man, but there were the occasional slips into more sentimental avenues than purely aspiring inventor and possible entrepreneur topics. Especially when Atlas asked the not-so-occasional healer related question which, remarkably, also remained tucked away inside his noggin...if not with a couple of screws loose so said information rattled around a bit more than his other focuses.

Some of the healer advice had been put to good use today seeing as Freddie was stuck in bed with some cold or another that he had BETTER keep to himself. Sparing Freddie an additional blanket from his own bed to keep his friend all incubated and comfy, Atlas was ready to tackle today's lesson with double the notetaking if necessary. Not just to pass along to Freddie since he was missing class but, well, they were partners in a project and if they weren't consistently on the same page then the success of said project would be in jeopardy. So...not entirely a selfless act, but things rarely were.

Again, being quite over the mystery item reveal aesthetic of Hogwarts professors, Atlas only subtly rolled his eyes at them before his gaze settled on Professor Feirgrund and he actually smiled in greeting. "Good day, professor."

Again.

Anyway.

Moving to find a seat, the Gryffindor settled into one beside his latest co-portrait antagonizer (what had his name been again? It had started with a B if he recalled correctly). "Hey kid," he greeted coolly before getting his things out and arranging them in front of them just so.
"Master Flamsteed," Nodding at the senior student. It seemed one of his usual companion wasn't attached today.

She smiled, greeting Professor Feirgrund with a cheery wave as she entered the room. "Hi, Professor!"

Her bright blue eyes were immediately drawn to the boxes. Wow, there were a lot of them! She wondered what they were for. Maybe they were full of supplies they'd need for an art project. Or maybe some muggle gadgets they were going to use. Maybe there was nothing inside at all and they were going to use the boxes themselves for something, like making a box fort. Maybe it was a lesson about muggle shipping methods, which involved boxes. That seemed kind of boring to her, but you never know!

Curiosity piqued, she took a seat near the front, where she could get a good look at the boxes, and took out her pen and notebook.
"Hello, Miss Marchand," She seemed eager to get started. And what better time than to do so now?

Enough time had passed for lesson to begin that Feirgrund clapped his hands for everyone's attention, "Places everyone. Welcome back to Muggle Studies. Today we'll be working with another muggle toy inside these boxes." Potentially fun stuff enough, "Before that, quick question time before you can collect and open one of these boxes... What are some of your favorite toys, gadgets, and items you experienced in your childhood? Or perhaps a cherished gift from your loved ones?" There were no wrong answers or reactions here.. within reason.

OOC: Thank you for your patience, everyone! You can react/answer to either questions depending on character's background. Class has started now so any new posters can post acting as if they were here all along without IC consequences for late arrival. Next post will be around 24 hours from now.
