When she didn't, she added it to her 'books I own but don't want to read' bookshelf. Evan seemed like someone who would take a bit longer though, and get through a bunch of the book before making his final deliberation. Somehow, that made her smile.

His question on her art made her smile too. Didn't Evan know that asking her about her art would lead to her showing him some? He humored her too much. Which she appreciated. "I've been painting so much! I've got my boyfriend, and my brother, and me, and my cat, and my flower vase, and the view from my balcony, and me playing piano, and so so many other things." She pulled out a bunch of art to show him, happily pointing out the different subjects. "Maybe we can talk more about what we've been doing after we get the food? I've got kind of a lot to say..." And she didn't want to keep him waiting or ruin his appetite.
