A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
Daniel listened to Lisa and Yumeki discuss hair colors. He wasn't keen on the subject, but he did enjoy learning new personal details about others. You never knew when you were going to need it. Although this information was pretty useless... "Perhaps fun for you" He huffed as he observed Lisa's 'innocent' expression. He couldn't help but notice how the light above her cast a halo-like glow on her hair. He gave a short laugh. He wasn't mad at her, and if he searched deep down he knew that he had had a good time at the party. "No," he said when Lisa suggested he dress her up for Halloween as revenge for last year. "I don't care. Just wear whatever you want." "Tuxedo Mask?" he questioned, perplexed once more. "Are you going to put masks on your tuxedo?" or was he going to put little tuxedo's on his mask? Both images were ridiculous to him. Personally, he had considered dressing up as a pilot. It was basically a suit with a few extra patches.
Lisa, why did you have to ruin his moment? Yumeki had been falling for it that he had missed a class! He gave his friend an irritated look. "I don't take notes, they're all up here" he lied as he tapped his head.
The Hufflepuff rolled his eyes as Lisa casually mentioned that V would like the feathers too but then he looked worried for a moment when his cat was mentioned. He then masked his feelings and nodded. "Sure, if that's what you want for your birthday." She used to run around Hogwarts, only returning once in a while to prove she was still alive. But she'd been staying in the Hufflepuff common room lately, napping on the carpet in front of the fire. He was becoming concerned that old age was catching up with her faster than he had anticipated. The shopkeeper had never stated how old she had been when he bought her.
He was still thinking about his cat when Yumeki abruptly shifted off the desk and stared at him so seriously that the Hufflepuff instinctively shifted his stance, ready to attack him back in case the Gryffindor tried to attack him first. Instead, his question made him blink but eventually, he caught up and he grinned "I'm more than skilled"
He watched as Yumeki was able to lift his wax feathers non-verbally and a wave of jealousy washed over him. "Well done..." he commented dryly
