Was that enough to dissuade her? She was still contemplating that when Phoenix and his offer to work together with her and Maria caught her attention. She glanced at Maria raising a slight eyebrow in question, but her head was also already nodding in agreement. "Yeah! That'd be fun!" As for the tools.... that was the safer option wasn't it? And yet she still couldn't help stare longingly at the secretive and yet maybe-not-so-secretive plants. "I can't think of anything else that would make sense other than mandrake. But... my herbology knowledge is probably pretty small so that might not mean much." Except that she just didn't know of any other plants.

Hearing her name from her other side, Ve turned round to give Milo her attention - remembering all over again that she'd meant to be trying his stretch, if that was what it was. Trying again now seemed glib, so she resisted the urge and instead focused on his words - eyes lighting up with delight at this information regarding her name that she had not known before. "Ooooh I didn't know that! I feel like that means I should be the Grim Reaper for Halloween this year, right?" It sounded like a real question, but it was very rhetorical. She would absolutely be doing that. "Well..." Another longing look back towards the covered plants, before the decision to avoid temptation was made and she answered almost mournfully. "My spellwork could probably use help. I'm going to work on moving supplies with Phoenix and Maria." Well, assuming the Hufflepuff did want to work on that as well. "Would you like to join us as well?"
