Lisa was happy to be rid of said powers. “I am relieved. It really made me self conscious at times…. Ugh. Daniel. Your powers were so cool. You were basically a different variant of Spider-Man but with magic! Imagine if the comic book writers discovered your origin story! UGH. I should have written it…” she cried dramatically. “If only I were a better artist…. i can tell a story but drawing… not my thing. Can you draw?” She looked to Daniel first and then to Yumeki.

She was very, very pleased when both boys confirmed she looked pretty. Yumeki nodded and then asked a question. Daniel told her that she looked good with it. Okay, good meant pretty right? “Thanks,” she said as she looked down at her light pink converse. Her attention was caught back to Yumeki’s question. More vibrant colours? She had often opted for lighter, pastel colours. Vibrant pink? She had a bright pink wig. “I’d consider like a pale pink or a lilac,” she explained before smiling. And Daniel confirmed that she could have pink. “I could share it with you guys if you’d like. You never know pink could be your thing. Have to try pink at least once.” She half teased, wondering if either one were inspired to try pink “I once crashed a first year party with a bright babygum pink sparkly wig paired with white sunglasses. It was a statement but I think I’d opt for a strawberry blonde colour.” Maya had recommended that colour to her. She’d leave the bold colours to her brothers. They seemed to be able to pull off those kinds of colours.

He seemed to cotton on to her comment about his conservation powers. She chuckled at his attempted joke before she tried to process it. “Wait… shouldn’t it be the other way around? Like you build up power while you sleep and then you’re secretly Tuxedo Mask or a Pokémon trainer or some superhero?” she asked, tilting her head to the side.

Lisa’s eyes were on Daniel when he averted his eyes when the kiss was mentioned. She sighed, noticing him trying to be all tough and mighty. That eye roll received a poke in the side. Lisa looked at him and then looked towards the fireplace. Is he knew it did make him feel weird. Very weird. She wondered what kind of weird. Fortunately Yumeki brought the silence when he piped up about cultural things in Japan which caused her to flash him a smile. She looked back to Daniel who still seemed distant. “I shouldn’t have asked…” she said, looking away to focus on the feather that Yumeki had in his hand.

She tuned out as the boys began to talk about time but tuned back in when Yumeki spoke in his native language. She knew Japanese. She was conversationally fluent and his comment caught her attention. She’d have to ask him afterwards. “Practice what?” she whispered in her own native language (Korean). She had many questions.

Lisa’s comment earned her a smile from Daniel. “That or you can make a really nice gift for a- my birthday,” she teased as she restrained herself from saying a special someone. “I like eucalyptus, mint, amber, and coconut but not all together.” She paused, remembering a few business proposals and schemes she had organized before. The bracelet making one, etc. “I think so. Put them at the right price and it’ll be off like wildfire.”

She stood up from where she sat and closed her eyes to focus on the spell in mind. Wingardium Leviosa. She repeated it a few times and then heard Daniel talking to Yumeki about the bathroom. She turned around to look at them with a concerned look.
