Hogwarts RPG Name:
Hope Archard
Ravenclaw
Fifth Year
Default

Hope was more and more excited as more and more first years joined her (Everleigh, Nora, Regulus, Maisey, Aurora, Nancy, Cassidy, Brandon)--she wasn't used to quite so many children her own age around and she loved it! But right at the moment, she was distracted with figuring out how to open the sleeping bag she'd gotten from the pile. She was used to sleeping outdoors, but her family and friends usually used blanket rolls that they'd put together themselves, and Hope wasn't quite sure how the zippers in this thing worked...

I much prefer to learn in the daytime. Better lighting,” She said solemnly. ”Oh, do any of you snore, by the way?”...
Hope stopped what she was doing to look at the other girl and consider carefully what she'd just said. "No, I don't think I do...but how would we know? I mean, you'd be asleep if you were snoring, so how would you know you were doing it?" But Hope supposed that a sleepover with a lot of other students would be a good way to find out.

Looking up at another girl's sudden exclamation, Hope replied, "Oh, but we couldn't possibly do it inside. We'd miss all this--the sky and the stars and the smell of the grass and...and that owl! For she'd suddenly noticed the great horned owl that had joined them. "Look at it," she whispered. "It almost seems to be watching us."
