With a flair for the theatrical and the likelihood to break out into song (even if she isn’t the best singer in the world), this girl loves to be around others. But with this outgoing personality comes its weaknesses. Aurora can be particularly sensitive to criticism and will typical avoid or ignore any conflict. Despite appearing to be a ditsy blonde, Aurora is actually quite intelligent and loves to learn however also gets bored quite easily.

Aurora is the youngest daughter of former Hogwarts students Layla and Bambi (nee Fleming) Ackerly. Personality wise, she resembles her Mum Bambi much more however loves them both equally. She had a very happy childhood in the family home mostly thanks to her kind and caring Mum Bambi and her very chilled (although to the onlooker she always looks grumpy) Ma Layla. There is a 5 year age gap between her and her older sister Ariadne however the girls are very close and Aurora looks up to her big sister massively. Her Mum Bambi was a former model and Ministry Worker, her Ma Layla used to work in the Games and Sports Division in the Ministry but now works independently as a personal fitness trainer.

Before Hogwarts

Aurora attended a muggle Primary School before going to Hogwarts. Her magical skills didn’t start showing until she was 10 years old leaving her a little concerned that she might not be magical at all. Although given the choice of going to Beauxbatons where her sister was already attending, Aurora wanted to be exactly like her mums and chose Hogwarts instead. Her childhood was altogether pretty normal and uneventful which was a relief to her parents. The family often spent time holidaying in Greece when they could.

Hobbies and Interests

As her Ma was incredibly sporty, Aurora was always encouraged to take up a sport from a young age. Being more of the girly pink loving type, she wasn’t particularly interested in playing team sports and chose to attend ice skating lessons at the local rink. She has been skating since she was 6 and has got pretty good at it in recent years. Aurora also loves animals and has been begging her parents for a pony for years.
