Given the context of their conversation, however, she was able to parse together his intended news just as she bounced back to stand and with the spare pages clutched in her hand rather haphazardly.
"Only poor if because of some loose binding no one sees its potential," she hummed while fitting the pages back inside and setting it into her basket with every intention still of purchasing it. But she would be adding another to her basket, one more intact, as well. Perhaps two. And she was not sure she believed in nargles, though she did believe in plenty of things she could not see, and it was rather quite fun to at least pretend to from time to time. "Gringotts then? That's brilliant, Septimus. What are your hours? Maybe if our schedules align just so I can take you out to lunch one day." She did often frequent Diagon Alley on her lunch breaks - at least the days she was not popping by the Ministry to pick up lunch with another of her favorite people. "You know, if there are any Gringotts galas or soirees you need to attend, I do have a fair bit of experience in dressing and tailoring men for such occasions. I've even dressed and designed for the Minister of Magic on occasion. I'll slip you my business card later, just in case."
Another wink and playful but modest sticking out of the tongue. Because of course. Septimus hadn’t even been aware of what he had said just what he had intended, then distracted by his companion and her discovery. “True…” There were certainly ways to remedy the situation if one took the time. And if anyone knew how to handle it the best way, he was sure Candela would, with her artistic work and eye. “Yes, that was where I was going. I’m an intern there.” As for his schedule and going out to lunch… “Pretty standard hours with lunch breaks so I think we can manage that.” At the very least it would entice him out of the office.
Galas and soirees? Septimus chuckled as he was sure they were more for his father’s level of cursebreaker. Come to think of it, he did remember at least one or two his parents had attended that he had heard of though they could have been ministry related as well. “I’ll keep that in mind on the really off chance I’m needed at one.” Maybe dragged in as serving staff and needing some fancy get up.
