 Constant Vigilance! O_O AWAKE!
She was going to get lost. She was going to get lost, and end up having to sleep in the Great Hall or a classroom or (in a worst case scenario) perish in a slimy dungeon corridor like an Athenian youth sacrificed to the Minotaur. Why hadn't they been given maps??? Sophia resolved to stick close with the other students until she knew her way around. If they were together, they'd be more likely to be found.
Once the first years finally got to their dorm, Sophia let out a big sigh of relief that her trunk and all her things were here. Following Maisey's example, she immediately dug into her trunk and got out the two stuffed animals she'd brought--a rabbit and a bright pink dragon. Hugging them close, she sat on her bed and looked around at her friends and new dormmates. "I think den sounds cozier," she said.
She looked around some more, her nose wrinkling critically as she considered ways to make their standard-issue dorm room more...well, more theirs. "We could get some plants?" she suggested. She wasn't sure how well a plant would do in the dungeons, but she was sure they could make it work. Speaking of living things, though...she looked around. "Does anyone see my cat?" |
