From time to time, she suffered from insomnia and just could not quiet her head enough to rest - but usually putting on a face mask and reading a chapter or two with a nice cuppa in her Chip teacup was enough to lull her.
Though, that was not the reason tonight that she had pulled out an array of her face mask options and laid them out on her bed. She was hoping she could convince one of the dorm mates to join her for the night, perhaps attempt to bond and forge friendships with these individuals she would now be living with for the next... two years. So long as her mom didn't insist on her moving back to France, that was.
Getting up from her bed, nice and comfortable in her Jack Skellington onesie (she liked to 'sleep like the dead' so this seemed fitting), Mouse carefully moved over towards Lisa Nam's bed and knocked on one of the pieces of wood to try to quietly get her attention. "Hey roomie. Any interest in a face mask and some tea?"
Lisa was dressed in her comfy chill clothes. Fuzzy socks, thick black joggers with a pale pink hoodie. She was up but she was finishing some pre-reading for the upcoming Transfiguration class. It was her favourite subject so homework never felt like a chore, more like a pleasure. It was much more pleasant than Flying class. While she had begun to enjoy flying more, she just didn’t experience the same enthusiasm that some of her friends had for it. But that was alright. Each to their own.
A knock brought her back from her reading. She closed her book, tied her lose blonde hair up in a lazy bun, and leaned forward to find her new roomie there. Lisa was fairly certain Mouse was her name. “
Hey roomie. I’m interested. And you can sit down if you want. I don’t mind,” she said, patting the end of her bed. She knew some of their roomies didn’t like when people sat on beds without permission but Lisa didn’t care. “
I have some oatmeal ones too if we want to throw those in. I also have nail polish too.”
