"Thanks!" He wanted to ask about the food situation, but Freddie seemed busy, and he figured they wouldn't let anyone go hungry. So he shrugged to himself, and...

"It's Joel Hellmann," he quickly whispered to her in response. He had a witty comment about his surname, but it was rude to speak during the speech of seemingly the Headmaster, so he held it back.

And then forgot, because food appeared!

"This is great!" he exclaimed to the people in the vicinity, and took a bite from his chicken.
