Sophia felt right at home at the Slytherin table. Her brother and sister would be so proud when she wrote to tell them. She smiled shyly as another of the first years (Maisey) started chatting with some older students. Would they be the ones showing them how to get into the common room? Or how to get into the common room, even. She supposed the Hogwarts castle was pretty big, to fit all the students in here in their own beds.
"The headmaster is new?" she asked one of the older girls (Bella). She looked up at the staff table. The headmaster certainly looked friendly. He kind of reminded her of her own granddad, if she tilted her head and squinted. The rest of the professors...hopefully also nice. "Did he teach here before?" |
