~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. ‘A perfect couple’ was how Charlie liked to think of him and Keighley together too. It really did go a long way that her family liked him {even if her father sometimes gave him suspicious looks} and that his own parents liked Keigh. Someday, he hoped she could meet all his siblings. What a huge family gathering it would be when both of their families got together! “It wasn’t my idea,’’ he told her with a laugh. “The older siblings started it when I was a toddler, I think. Still, I look forward to that tradition each year.” Char eyed Keigh thoughtfully. “I wouldn’t mind helping out when we’re at Hogwarts then.”
Ah, that first meeting. Char could quite clearly remember that first meeting; it was a memory which he doubted would ever fade from his memory. He had been quite enamored with Keighley as he was now. “No, it’s all perfect!’’ Like she was. Char didn’t mind that she hadn’t said those words back to him as yet; the boy was more than happy to keep reminding her that he loved her, however. There was a fond smile when it became obvious she was blushing {even more than usual, in his opinion}. “That’s great! You’ll have a great time. Here.” He fished out a rolled up poster of Thunder. “This is him.” Quite the handsome horse Thunder was. |
