Did Raj want to hear all about quidditch? Because Apollo could launch into quite the discussion if was interested. "Quidditch was a pretty fantastic season. England made it to second place... and my last three matches on the team, we won." Did anything else happen? Not a crazy lot, sadly. "What about you? Good summer?" See, the summer had passed muster in topics of conversation. And even into something interesting. “That’s awesome. Congrats!” Raj did follow some quidditch, though he would have to admit, especially with his father, gobstones sometimes got more of his attention. Might also have a bit to do with how he loved to fly himself rather than just watch others in the air.
“Yeah, it was pretty great,” he remarked. “Had some excitement at the reserve with a new dragon.” One that he had been the watcher off to see when it was first beginning to hatch to make sure all would be well. It had been a big deal that he was proud of. “And the weather thankfully held out whenever we ventured into London.” The city and Diagon Alley were definitely better to enjoy and spend time with friends when it wasn’t raining all that much.
