It wasn't planned, but at this point in his Hogwarts career, Mercer Branxton knew that his ride to Hogwarts was going to be something of a feast. He had all the goodies his mother had given him, and Mitsuki was going to have some weirdness to share (soup?). And if they managed to find Milo, who even knew what that particular friend might produce today. Plus the trolley would be by a few times, so all in all, Mercer was ready to set into as much food as he could find.
A bit weird of a plan for a train ride, but it was getting to be a tradition.
He found a car that was empty and immediately spread out along one whole side of the car, trying to touch the both the door and the window just by being as loooong as possible on the seats. So this was his side.
