DETAILED PERSONALITY: Vera has a lot of energy and no hesitancy in showing it. She likes to talk to people, and doesn’t much care about their opinion about her during and after the fact. She’s not much of a planner, leaving the more thought out part of her schemes to the better half of the twins - her brother Vasco. She’s argumentative by default and loves nothing more than to annoy her brother and dote on little Scoot. Now that Vera is getting older and dealing with life changes and not having her mum to ask questions of, she spends a lot of time trying to figure out her own answers or consult older females in her life so her younger sister does not feel that same void later. As she begins to have feelings that she doesn't want, more and more she feels the absence of her own mother. Once her Papa started dating some of her concerns were alleviated, however now she worries Renner doesn't need the kids as much as they need him because he has Raju. Which she is happy for him to be happy, but as she doesn't imagine a world where Raju cares about her she low-key thinks of him as competition for affection and time.

HISTORY:

Vera was born to Renner and Avery Thanatos on November 4th, 2095, the second of two children with her brother beating her by measly minutes. The date itself, was fitting for the siblings, the first born children of their favorite candy man being on National candy day - something the parents joked about in pleased amusement.

Their early lives were easy and happy, time spent with their loving parents learning the multiple dialects of the area they lived. Renner, a Beauxbatons graduate, was able to help the children with their French while their mother and their early school encouraged conversation in Italian. Languages were something Vera learned to like early, because it just widened her range for nicknames if she knew what words meant in OTHER languages too!! When the twins were around 3, their parents had announced they were pregnant again and they could expect a younger sibling. Vera cried and cried for days, not wanting to be a middle child or have another Vasco, but her tune soon changed when she learned they were giving her a little SISTER this time. She then took on the doting older sister role, happily anticipating Vesper’s arrival.

Vesper came, and Vera loved little Scoot immediately - being far more forthcoming with her affection for the little sister than with her twin brother, though she secretly loved them all the same. Life continued to be happy for a short time, until Avery grew ill and by the time the kids had reached their 5th birthday, their mother had passed. The pain of the memories for the family was too hard with someone missing from their lives, so Renner packed them all up and moved to London where the family has since resided. Life continued as normally as it could, with all missing their mother and wife. Vera found it easier to channel her enthusiasm into being as loud and obnoxious as ever, trying to pretend she did not miss the gentle presence of their mum. And annoying her brother even more than she had previous, was just her attempt to distract him from his sadness as well.

With both their parents having been of magic origins, Vera very much expected she and Vasco would both receive letters inviting them to Hogwarts. But she was still over JOYED at her first signs of magic (she managed to turn a few of the stuffies in her room an array of colors) and even more so when she and Vas turned 11 and received their invitation to Hogwarts the next year.

Thanks to her idol Peevsie, Vera was given the gift of rainbow touch and used it as often as possible to change the color of EVEEEERYTHING. Her robes were always bright and her hair interesting shades. Attempted to sneak into Forbidden Forest with Logan only to then later give up the chance to legally enter Forbidden Forest in lieu of making a potions with Peeves (&co). There were difficult decisions this term, ok.

SPOILER!!: Third Year at a Glance

Perhaps one of the quietest terms to exist at Hogwarts. Participated in some shenanigans, including finding centaurs in the Forbidden Forest, with the older Gryffindor she looks up to Atlas Flamsteed. Got into a verbal sparring match with a portrait with Logan (would go as far as to say they won). Swam through the slug pit with Maria. Waded though the swamp in search of lost loot with Sailor Zhang and followed through with visiting his restaurant during summer break. Spent majority of the term plotting via mirror with her sister to set up their Dad. Receives a Hogwarts bucket list from now graduate Atlas Flamsteed cried a little when it happened

SPOILER!!: Fourth Year at a Glance

The term of feelings, which she very much did not enjoy. Realized she had a crush, fought said crush tooth and nail, finally gave in and moved to admittance. Also finally had very long overdue conversation with her brother, including beginning the process of dealing with her own grief on losing their mum (better late than never).
Notable moments - DADA with the note from Anna Walles and the embarrassing portrayal of being a goat (parchment doesn't taste good), making friends with Jasmine the Spinx, job fair (more embarrassment) and interview with Professor Paton which has spurred her to care about her studies (RIP fifth year) and look into potential careers with reptilian creatures.

SPOILER!!: Fifth Year at a Glance

OWL year meant a LOT of making up for the prior years in which she slacked off. Extra study sessions with Vasco for most subjects, and labs in the Room of Requirement with Leo for Potions, meant she didn't have a lot of time to notice what was going on around her at school. Could tell some of her favorite teachers and peers were acting... Off (later revealed they'd been replaced with mirror!selves) but there was no time to inquire or worry too deeply. However she DID find time to sneak in adventures here and there with Logan (study breaks), which only became more frequent after a Muggle Studies project in which they kissed. OWLs came and went and summer started, which meant a family vacation to Italy among her other responsibilities for summer and her and Logan finally getting together towards the end of summer.

SPOILER!!: Sixth Year at a Glance

Bought an invisibility cloak with her boyfriend before the term started - more adventures ensued with the help of this relic during the year. Also kept up with her studies more than year's previously (not OWL year level but.... also not every other year). Fit in plenty of time for all of her people and continued to ponder (read: panic) about the future that was looming WAY too close. Also Vasco got a crush which meant sister had to get overinvolved. (likes the girl well enough)
