Kennedy had silently made it to the table just before the speech, nodding a greeting at his fellow colleagues. Before settling in for the end of the term feast he wanted to make sure personal brooms were ready for their owners for the train back home. Kennedy was more than eager to go home. Gabriela had told him their little Angelito was crawling and was for sure going to start walking soon. He wanted to be there and not miss that special moment. He also needed to prepare Violeta for football and/or Quidditch (depending on what she decided on). Also, Neddie was coming home for the summer after her first year at university. It was going to be a full house at the Escalantes, and he couldn’t wait for that.
Listening to Kamran’s speech, Kennedy was a bit disappointed the headmaster wasn’t sticking around. He had been a great leader at the school, one Kennedy would have liked to work alongside with more. Alas, that wasn’t the case. Glancing out at the sea of students he could see a few faces weren’t happy as well.
