Tugging Sable Ileana's hand along to come into the store with her (sorry if anything changed color, bestie!) she eyed all the shelves with WIDE eyes. It was... a little sad to enter a candy store and know that she couldn't just go up to the counter and ask to see Papa from the back, but she wasn't here to focus on that.
Though... she also wasn't sure WHAT to focus on. "Um, um. What should we get first? Jelly slugs? Chocolate wands? Blood pops?" Actually, she didn't overly love the iron-y taste of the last. "Fizzing whizzbees?" Candy was always a given. It made everything better, really, and Vera’s stockpile depleting meant Sable Ileana’s had too. Since she sort of depended on her bestie for the best candy, while she focused on better things. Like their pirate plans, which the Peeves powers hadn’t curtailed at all. No, Sable Ileana was still hyper focused on their ship and everything else pirate-y. School stuff was less important. But first, candy.
She didn’t mind Vera pulling her along into the shop at all. It was their joint mission after all, even if she ended up partially rainbow for it. She could pull it off. The blonde was bothered by little these days, aside from the usual concern about not sounding like herself half of the time, or more. She was counting down the days til she could control that ability or it would just go away altogether. Control would be more fun though. Mimicking people was fun when it didn’t catch her off guard.
Focus wasn’t exactly her strength either. “Fizzing Whizbees are cool. Floating and stuff. Or chocolate. Chocolate’s always good”, she replied, scrunching her nose a bit at the thought of blood pops. Ew. Those definitely weren’t on the list.
