~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. Professor Paton was right: some days things were so bad with her powers that Aria felt as though that breakdown was just around the corner. Some days, she felt apathetic. Other days, annoyed. Of course, these feelings could be chalked up to hormones but she knew it had to do with her powers as well. Today seemed to be a mixture of all three of those feelings.
But Aria nodded at Paton’s reassurance. There wasn’t a single hint of doubt that the professors were on this case. Let’s not forget that some of them were affected themselves so it would make a ton of sense they want to be free of the pesky thing as well. “I usually tuck my hands under my armpits,’’ the sixth year commented in the same dull tone. “It helps. But I will try the gloves.” Merlin knew if the gloves would be ripped if her power became too strong, or just as bad, if the gloves would be forced off of her hands. “Thanks again for your help, professor. I’ll see you around.” A small smile was offered to everyone gathered there before she continued her journey to the balcony. |
