It was a brisk day in early April and the wind was vigorously rustling the leaves of the trees surrounding the greenhouses. On the door of Greenhouse Three was a sign in Professor DeVries' large, looping handwriting:

Please enter and have a seat. Be with you shortly.

Inside the greenhouse, a number of wooden worktables with stools had been set up in a semicircle facing one end of the greenhouse. Besides the usual residents of the house, you might notice a new plant sitting in front, mysteriously covered by a large white groundcloth.
