Jude was rather relieved that Keigh hadn’t put up much of a resistance when he suggested she hang back at the Castle. He figured that mentioning Olivia had done the trick but please, nobody mention that he had shrewdly suggested Keigh help with the Potion in this manner. The guy had given his sister's hand a little squish before setting off with the professors and other students to the Forest. Was he nervous? Not really but the group would surely attract a lot of attention given Kazmi’s… little situation.
The Dragon Heartstring wand of his had been drawn even before they departed from the Courtyard and Merlin - and every other professor heading to the Forest - knew that Jude was not going to cause any trouble. Him, misbehave? Pfffft. As if! With regard to his gift, well… he made butterflies flutter by. Surely that wasn’t concerning.
