foooor Edric! Baguette | there is no D in my name | TRAITORclaw | Queenie of Narnia Dropping her textbook and bag onto a table near the windows, Lydia flopped into a chair, already staring out a window. There wasn't anything swimming out there right at the moment, but it was still more interesting than the Charms essay she needed to write.
Why did homework have to be so boring? She'd, of course, thought about just not doing it, but her grade was already on shaky ground from sometimes doing exactly that throughout the term... so it was time to be more consistent.
She huffed, the usual bubbles rising from her mouth as she did so. That was annoying too by this point. If only they were actually useful, like helping her breathe underwater, then they'd be kinda cool. And then she could break out of this window and swim in the lake and away from the homework.
...In theory. The fourth year didn't actually know if it was possible to break the window, and the lake water looked pretty gross. But y'know. It was the thought that counted.
But anyway...time to dig her quills and parchment and stuff out of her bag.
