~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes. “Humph!’’ Aria responded. “We’ll just see about that, won’t we?” But she was grinning, ready to take on the Apparating for the first time. “Hoops it is, even though I really think you’re afraid of being the first to take a swim with Bart.” Then she was scooting over to Caes and reaching out to give him a squish. “And to you!” Yes, Aria was a hundred percent sure that Caes would be successful in everything Apparition.
Now, the Slytherin girl was standing by one of the hoops. At the same time the three Ds’ were running through her mind like a chant, and she tried to think of them over anything else. Aria took her time in concentrating, focused on the hoop then turned on the spot. It really was no surprise that she was still standing exactly in the same spot. And so she tried again and again and AGAIN. While Aria was busy failing, Caes was obviously mastering things over there. How proud this little sister was of him! * * * * * * * * * * * * * Yeah, Jude wasn’t having much luck on his end either. Of course, he hadn’t expected to have much success just at the moment. After a few tries, he realised that he was somewhat nervous about splinching himself. Was that what was holding him back? Maybe he should take a moment to clear his head? It was a good idea and the Hufflepuff did exactly this, closing his eyes and doing a few rounds of breathing exercises that he had come to rely on.
Right!
He was ready again. Jude eyed the chosen hoop and turned on the spot for what seemed like the zillionth time. |
