"I suppose that's as good an idea as anything I could come up with," Javier said with a small smile as Tapio, Jude and Keighley all suggested similar ideas. "I can be the target of the prank," he added as an afterthought. Peeves knew that Javier was NOT one who tolerated pranks - the whole school knew that.
"It would be very realistic that Peeves would delight in someone trying to prank me," he elaborated. Plus Peeves KNEW he had been pushing Javier's buttons all term. It was the perfect plan to lure him out - hopefully.
