The sixth year skipped happily along down to the Lake where she soon came across the instructor and the rings. “Good afternoon, good afternoon!’' bubbly Aria called out to the lady as she selected a tree stump to flop down on. * * * * * * * * * * * * * Apparition of being an Animagus. That had always been Jude’s mindset. Being able to apparate would be so helpful to him when it came to University and needing to travel for all the things he had his Hufflepuff mind set on in the future. Hands shoved in the pockets of his trousers, the boy made his way to the Lake behind the ever so peppy Aria McLeod. “Hi! Good afternoon!” Jude gave the woman a cheery wave with one hand while he used the other to brush his dark hair - which he had failed to cut yet again - from his face. Okay! So… where to sit? In the end, he selected a stump somewhere in the middle. Aurora was bubbling with nervousness on the inside, but on the outside she showed what she hoped was authority but friendliness. It wasn't the same to instruct adults as it was to instruct teenagers. "Good afternoon," Aurora returned with a friendly smile as she watched the snake robed girl take a seat on a stump.

Shortly after the first girl had arrived a boy with his hands in his trousers came down to the lake. "Good afternoon!" Aurora greeted back cheerily as she watched the boy debate what tree stump to sit down on. Why was that always important? Aurora was about to offer a seat when the boy found himself one. Quote:

Aurora greeted with a friendly nod the tall boy in snake robes that she deemed to be in his seventh year unless he was just tall for his age. He chose a stump near the girl so Aurora wondered silently if they were related or friends or more. Quote:

It was like if he could postpone studying, he could postpone the exams, and then graduating, and then figuring everything out.
He knew it didn't work like that, but the eighteen year old was a master procrastinator.
Grinning at the others already assembled, and the Ministry person whom he assumed would be leading this session, Ignacio found a seat. The next boy that arrived with a grin on his lips Aurora greeted with a "Good afternoon!" She hoped that he wasn't trouble. Grins could be positive though right? Quote:

Only one so far, was odd. Quote:

He crossed his long legs at the knee and focused his usual dreamy gaze on the lake. Hmm. It had lovely lily pads this time of year. Apparently. "Good afternoon!" Aurora greeted with a friendly nod in return to yet another boy that came into the 'class area' and took a seat on a stump. What Lo meant she was oblivious too but she assumed it meant hello. Quote:

I'm Jasper Botros. Looking forward to the lesson!"
Botros men had manners, you see.
Oi, EDDDDDDD! All manners gone, Jasper made an obnoxious beeline towards his friend, plopping himself on an adjacent stump. "Yoooo, what's up, dude?" ... Except as soon as he sat down, he shot up into the air. Like up, UP. Flying like a bottle rocket. Heh. It happened from time to time. Jasper had gotten used to it, so he was unfazed as he stayed floating in the air. Smiling now Aurora greeted in return. "Good afternoon, It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance Jasper. I hope you'll like what I've planned." She was about to turn her attention to another student when Jasper shot up into the air and kept floating. Licking her lips Aurora called out "Jasper are you all right? Do you need help to get down?" The headmaster had mentioned peculiar things, but this wasn't what she had imagined. Quote:

Fifth year but ready to learn,” she proclaimed before waving to Jude and joining Jasper and Edric.
“Hiya Jas and Edric,” she greeted. Please mind the bubbles… they were a reminder of things. Aurora was glad when another girl showed up to even out the numbers a little. A class full of only boy's would be a challenge. Smiling in greeeting she said "Good afternoon, Lisa! It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, and I'm happy to hear that you are eager to learn." She looked around at the people already gathered, and quietly decided to take a seat all by herself. No offense to her friends, of course. It was just that Ash hadn't been in a good mood to begin with, and being bad at an important skill in front of everyone didn't improve it at all. "Good afternoon," Aurora greeted over with a smile to the another girl that joined the circle, but chose to take a seat on a stump by herself. Why not sit by one of the other students? Interesting. Where had that boy come from? Aurora wondered as her gaze settled on a boy who hadn't been sitting on that particular stump earlier. "Good afternoon," she greeted all the same to him even if he didn't want to say it to her. Quote:

To the last girl that took up a seat on a stump near the grinning boy Aurora smiled "Good afternoon miss," She still didn't like to be called madam, it really made her feel older than she was. Stealing a glance down at her watch Aurora deemed that it was a high time to start. Straightening up and smiling all around at the students she began by introducing herself. "Good afternoon everyone! I'm so happy to see that so many of you want to learn how to apparate. I'm Aurora Bagnold, and I'm the department head of the Magical Transporation department at the ministry of magic, and I will be your apparition instructor today." After a little pause to let her name sink in she started off with some Q&A. "Can anyone tell me what exactly is apparition? And what other forms of transportation are there?" OOC: Feel free to be creative with your answers you can say both magical and muggle forms of transportation. Class will continue sometime on saturday.
