Suffice it to say, it had been getting a little too quiet again even though he WAS still handing out his gracious gifts, and Peeves was not entirely finished having his fun. And so, off he went, flying and soaring and bobbing and weaving and continuously cartwheeling through every single corridor, flinging magic this way and that to rev up the ol' powers again. And maybe he'd deliver even MORE. Yeeeees.
Cackling bordering on hysterical (and highly unnerving when heard echoing through the corridors), good old Peeves sped through the air, a man on a mission poltergeist with a purpose, waking those superduperpowers uP UP UP and intending to share the chaos love as much as he could. Over the course of this school year, Aria had become quite attached to hanging out at the Balcony. That's where she was actually heading to today. There was nothing in particular on her agenda, unless you counted sitting flat on the floor and staring out at the grounds or sketching. It was a fine day to relax and clear her head.
Or so she thought.
The sixth year stopped in her tracks along the fourth floor corridor, a small frown gracing her face. "UGH! Peeves!'' Yes, that cackling could only be the poltergeists', and she actually heard him before she saw him. Aria considered hiding from him because he was bound to ruin her mood with his foolishness but... TOO LATE! Peeves was soon in her sight. His sharp, wicked eyes were bound to land on her too. |
