Lisa has spent her entire life trying to stay busy. This has resulted in an attempt at playing most sports, and continued interest in many of them, including Gobstones, football, Quidditch, and badminton. She adores her family, especially her two children and two grandchildren. She sees them all regularly. She bought her children their first Gobstones sets, and her grandchildren their first (toy) brooms–she will buy her grandchildren their first Gobstones sets, as soon as she trusts them not to swallow them. She reads a lot, both books for grown-ups and books for children. She knows a lot of random, arguably useless facts, thanks to this. In 2107, Lisa considered retiring, but postponed it and ultimately decided she’d be too bored.

Lisa’s dad is a wizard and mother was a Muggle, and the two never married. Her dad works in Muggle relations and had met her mother while completing a masters degree at a Muggle university. The dad moved to Morocco after graduation and they didn't keep in touch. They reconnected when Lisa got her Hogwarts letter, and Lisa started spending part of her summers with her dad, learning to play Gobstones from the magical kids in his neighborhood while he was at work.

Lisa married in 2065, shortly after her own graduation, to Tony Gerst, whom she met during university. He was a young Quidditch star her boss interviewed during her internship at Seeker Weekly. They stayed in touch and eventually began officially dating.
